Out & About Enjoying the Regatta in Roundstone at the weekend. Galway Hookers & Currachs were on display, racing out across the bay. Though the weather was dull & misty, it didn’t take away from the graceful elegance of these beautiful traditional sailing boats. Specially developed to sail in the treacherous Irish waters of the Connemara coast. I spent the afternoon taking photos & making notes, capturing the essence of the day. Getting some great images to paint from. Looking forward to these paintings.
