A Sneak At Some New Work In Progress. Poured Acrylic Painting. Prime up the canvas, drawing out the image in paint. Working out the composition & light balance. Spend some time thinking about colours. Choosing shades & tones. Then I’m ready to mix up the paints in glass jars, adding my secret ingredients. Adjusting the consistency until its is just right, allowing the colours to float on top of each other or sink below. Enjoying pouring paint the consistency of honey. Wet and glossy until it dries in about 36 hours. Being careful to keep the canvas completely level during this time or the paint will run off!!! Great fun, very messy and very challenging!!
